Who am i
Ruben René Grønning, born and raised in Bodø, Norway
With a life rooted in skate, surf, and snowboard culture—shaped by the energy of hip-hop, punk, metal, and soul—creativity came naturally. Art flowed in all formats, across colors and surfaces, from an early age.
High school began with a dream: to create, to live as an artist.
But life is rarely linear. Timing isn’t always kind, and some chapters feel unfair.
After years of cruising through different turns, working as a bricklayer, studying, and mastering techniques and tools, new forms began to emerge. Creations took shape in foam, plaster, tiles, and microcement—materials transformed into stories.
Now, in a small atelier in Northern Norway, those stories continue. Each piece laid down to channel energy, to strike presence, to wake you up.
